When the first snowflakes started to fall last Sunday, Marblehead Rotarians didn’t cancel plans. We doubled down. And our mission spelled one thing: B-I-N-G-O.
B – Bring a big dose of good cheer
I – Inspire with laughter, and presence
N – Nail those numbers (winning matters)
G – Go with the flow
O – Oh my… are we having fun yet?
For two hours, Rotarians gathered with the residents of Northeast Arc, playing bingo, cheering every win, and celebrating every small moment that makes the community feel real. Remember when winning a game as a kid felt like everything? That spark was alive in the room. And by the end of the afternoon, we weren’t quite sure who was happier—the players proudly holding their prizes or the volunteers who came to share the joy.
Our deepest thanks to https://ne-arc.org/ and to Heather Gold and Suzanne Ryan, who have made this gathering possible year after year. They remind us that gratitude grows when it’s shared—and that goodwill, once given, always returns threefold.
Not just fundraising, but showing up. Not just service, but presence. Snow outside. Warmth inside.
Bingo, beautifully done.
